Physician, PhD (Medicine)

Appointed to our hospital on July 7, 2025. He began his medical career as a surgeon, but now handles outpatient and inpatient care in a well-rounded manner, focusing on common internal medicine illnesses and health check-ups. He is also capable of responding in English based on his overseas work experience.

He has conducted long-term research on body temperature regulation, such as heat stroke and sensitivity to cold, and has written books and papers, as well as providing commentary on television and radio. At our hospital, he plans to provide medical care utilizing this research and also to hold seminars for the general public.

Education and Qualifications: Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine and its graduate school in 1986 and 1995; Professor Emeritus at Waseda University; President of the Japanese Society of Biometeorology; Hot spring therapy physician; Sports doctor certified by the Japan Sports Association; Industrial physician certified by the Japan Medical Association
